Origins Road

The Origin Road project is part of the UE-POCTEFA framework designed to enable collaboration on both sides of the Pyrenees. The aim of the project is to implement a specific model of scientific or qualified tourism both for activating regional development and for promoting synergistic collaboration of research centres in the field of science communication.

The Origin Road encompasses museums, observatories, science centres and archaeological and paleontological sites, which share their singular approach to the very questions about origins – of the universe, of life, of landscape, of humans.  Along the route visitors are invited to participate in different experiences organized by the project partners. The visits to the Palaeolithic site of Roca dels Bous and the activities organized in Archaeological Park of Sant Llorenç de Montgai are CEPAP’s contribution to the project.
